Yes, my sister has made a few mistakes in her life since high school....well, since entering high school. But who hasn't right? Unfortunately her mistakes had pretty big consequences. And her some of her decisions created 2 beautiful little angels that we do not call mistakes or even think of as mistakes. Today I found out that the horrible man who fathered the two little angels is once again in jail. What a sad life he has created for himself. He's into drugs which is what landed him in jail less than two years ago while my sister was giving birth to their second daughter (that's the first time i wanted to kill him). Now he is in jail for breaking and entering and armed robbery. I hope he is in there for good.
What I am thankful for is that my sister finally made a good decision. She got married a few weeks ago to what seems like a wonderful man who wants to provide for her and her beautiful girls. He is a christian. He is in the army. And he loves my sister. I am thankful for you Joe. I am thankful that God did not give up on my sister like I was scared He would. I'm even thankful that Rodney is in jail again. I hope Kathy can find a way to convince him to let Joe adopt his daughters and be the dad that rodney will never be. They deserve more than what he has to offer - a life full of drugs, deadbeat friends, and jail-time.
To Kathy and Joe: I love the both of you and am so happy that you have found True Love. Congratulations.
